I painted this palm tree on Yupo (plastic) paper and let it dry. It looks sloppy at this stage.

I added darker greens on branches and leaves and let that dry.

I started to lift out the spaces between the branches and started adding and subtracting color on the bark. This stage is fun because it can start taking shape. With as much detail as this has, there is much more to be done.
